With only a week to go before the Mary Queen of Scots Festival kicks-off, excitement is building in the Wee White Dug household.

Casper aka the Wee White Dug will be joining festival goers on Saturday 2nd September, and is hoping for an audience with the queen and maybe even a selfie if he’s lucky.

Casper recently spent an enjoyable morning with Thomas from Visit Dunfermline, exploring the historic centre of Dunfermline.  He’s looking forward to visiting Kinross to find out more about Scotland’s most iconic queen, and the time she spent in captivity at Loch Leven Castle.

Casper is the star of BBC featured, Scottish travel blog ‘Scotland with the Wee White Dug‘.  Written by his history geek Mum Sam, the blog follows Casper as he travels around Scotland.  His Dad Alex is Head Chauffeur for the Wee White Dug blogging team!

The Wee White Dug and his human entourage would like to extend a huge thank you to the wonderful Green Hotel Golf & Leisure Resort who will very kindly be hosting their stay in historic Kinross.

We can’t wait – See you all soon.
